A coffee-colored south bay sawlette,

south bay shawlette (1st: the blue)

This shawl holds a lot of "firsts" and that is why I love it very much:
- it is the first big garment I made (other than scarves and beanies),
- the first time I used the magnificent Katia darling yarn,
- my first attempt to read a charted crochet pattern,
- the first (of the three) south bay sawlettes that I made,
- the first delicate garment that I did put in the washing machine (and came out almost better that before!)

In raverly here.

south bay shawlette (3rd: the automn)

I LOVE this unusual-and-interesting-compination-of-colors yarn, it seems as if it has been created for me!
I am making a crocheted shawl, the pattern is named South bay shawlette and the yarn is (fingering) "Katia darling".

In raverly here.

More photos (finished) here and here.
